We've finally got our logos and it was a LOT harder than I expected

WHY?

Because I spent hours playing with multiple AI logo designers that promised professional logos in minutes and all I got was clipart and templates

The PROBLEM is that if you actually understand design, which I pretend to, none of the AI logo designs can easily execute specific design instructions

Even if get close, say 80% of the way there, once you need to edit the logo, it's impossible to communicate fine tuning changes to the AI image editors I used

All of the AI tools I logo tools played with which included Canva Pro, Design, Looka , Brand.ai, to name a few come in 2 main forms

1. Put in some keywords, and the AI generates a bunch of clip art that takes very little consideration of what you do and how the design of your logo represents what you do

2. Prompts you for preferences like what kind of styles you like, what kind of colors you like

This is great for someone who has little requirements or doesn't understand design in too much detail, but we needed a logo that showed we understood branding, so . . .

Ultimately, I went back to my usual designer, who is a total rockstar

And now, we have a logo

Our logo is a simple wordmark logo with a custom W represents a signal

Each of the 3 peaks in the W are successively higher to indicate growth, improvements, and results

And finally the tail of the W continues on to show momentum

Our social media icon is the W glyph in white on a our hero brand colours which are intentionally not the boring blue or boring black that boring branding agencies use to help their clients blend into the crowd
